In case someone fails to renew within the six months of validity date, the owner of the trademark have to pay a late fee. After the expiry date the trademark holder will lose its trademark.
After the period of renewal is over, the owner can apply for the restoration of the trademark. The Application for the restoration has to be made six months to one year after the validity date
